Driving keys on PC
These keys are the set repeated by control charts for the standard driving HUD. Read the on-screen buttons too, because mobile layouts and later patches can move an icon.
| Action | Key |
|---|---|
| Accelerate | W |
| Brake or reverse | S |
| Steer left / right | A / D |
| Shift up | E |
| Shift down | Q |
| Jump to top gear | E + P |
| Drop to neutral | Q + P |
| Manual clutch mode | M |
| Handbrake | Shift |
| Park | P |
| Headlights | L |
| Horn | H |
| Left indicator | Z |
| Right indicator | C |
| Hazards | X |
| Motorcycle wheelie | T |
| Jump, or remount after a fall | Spacebar |
| First-person view | V, where the chart includes it |
E is also the interact key when you are on foot or facing a prompt. While driving, the same key shifts up. Use the prompt text to tell those moments apart.
Spawn, park, and recover
Vehicles are not tied to one keyboard shortcut. Click the key icon, then pick the vehicle. BETA V1.1.9 adds a favorite spawner so a chosen vehicle is easier to bring back.
If the vehicle is stuck, use the on-screen exit or respawn icon. If you fall off a motorcycle, Spacebar is the reported way to get back on. Park with P before you walk away so the vehicle does not roll.
Wheelie input conflict
Key charts map T to the motorcycle wheelie and Shift to the handbrake. Separate stunt write-ups describe a clutch-and-lean launch: hold W, hold a clutch key they list as Shift or Ctrl, shift into first with E, hold a lean input they list as T, S, or Down Arrow, then release the clutch. Those two descriptions cannot both be the only default.
Treat T as the wheelie key from the HUD chart. If a lean or clutch button is drawn on your screen, use that button. Do not assume Shift is the clutch if your HUD already uses Shift as the handbrake.
Camera
BETA V1.1.9 adds a first-person view and a 360 action camera. A separate PC free-cam note says Shift + L detaches the camera. In that mode, W A S D move the camera, Q and E move it down and up, the mouse aims, and holding Shift speeds the camera up. Leave free cam before you need Q and E for gears again.
Mobile
Mobile uses on-screen throttle, brake, steer, gear, and a wheelie or lean control. Button positions are not fixed across updates. Look for the lean or wheelie button on the right side of the driving HUD rather than memorizing a screenshot from an older patch.
